Network Administrator

# Responsibilities
1 Establishes network specifications by analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designs router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
2 Evaluates network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; defines network policies and procedures; establishes connections and firewalls.
3 Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshoots network problems; and escalates them to vendors/Telco providers (as needed).
4 Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, controls, and evaluation; maintains documentation.
5 Performs all other related duties from time to time.
# Requirements
1 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering or any related course
2 With at least 3 years working experience in network administration and support
3 Excellent knowledge in TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN, network design and optimization
4 Hands-on experience managing and configuring Cisco routers, switches and firewalls
5 CCNA certified (an advantage).
6 Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as What’s Up Gold, Solarwinds, Netcool, Nagios, etc.
7 Working experience in supporting 24x7 mission critical network infrastructure monitoring with familiarity to Ticketing system.
8 Adaptability to changing project and departmental priorities. Able to work scheduled hours and overtime when needed.
9 Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
10 Strong team orientation, open-minded and able to listen to other’s ideas.
11 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
